Holiday photos of #Tarn Hows.

This is one of our favourite places and walks in the Lake District Tarn Hows when we are up in the Lakes on holiday we always pay a visit.

Follow me I know the way.

Looking down on Tarn Hows from the top road.

The views and scenery are breathtaking.

The good thing about Tarn Hows is there is easy access to the water for a swim or a drink to cool off.

Wordless Wednesday (More holiday photos)

Me with Dad and Grandma.

Me walking with Mum.

Me all muckied up after a mud bath.

Me waiting for Mum and Grandma to catch up.

I wonder if there's a short cut down there.

It's a bit strange when you stop to for a picnic and a cow sticks it's head through the window.

Relaxing with my staff.

Mum likes her sheep, we walked across the fields to get to the village the sheep didn't bother me and I ignored them, Dad put me on my lead though because he said it was the right thing to do it must of impressed the farmer because he always smiled and said hello to me.

The local church.

Some more holiday photos, and more to follow through the week.

Just got back off Holiday.

This is were we stayed on holiday. Keen Ground Cottage Hawkshead, Cumbria.

The history of Hawkshead.

Some more history and photos of Hawkshead, Cumbria.

Well it's back to reality again now, we all had a great time lovely walks and fantastic weather I don't suppose I will get 6-8 hour walks a day now. Having said that though there's a big difference from the countryside to the concrete jungle I'm used to.

The only change now is the patio set's been moved down, there's a bench against the wall of the cottage and the wooden gates have bee replaced by iron ones.

I settled right in and took up a prime spot of looking down the lane for intruders.

View from bed room window of cottage.

Chilling out with Mum and Grandma.

Mum and Dad loved having breakfast on the patio and of course I had to join them.

Mum having a cuppa.

The cottage and me on look out.

Views from the patio.

Do you want me to help out with the driving Dad.

More photos to follow.

Meet Marley.

Introducing new boy Marley....

Marley is roughly turning 2yrs old and he has lived with young children happily . He is a friendly boy who needs a firm leader and someone who will continue his socialising. He is in foster with other dogs and wants to play but doesn't understand the rules !! He would be best in a home with another dog that's playful but not bouncy and in his face . He has no idea how to play with toys either but shows interest in them . He enjoys being brushed and walking but he's a bit unsure of what's expected of him on a lead so needs work on that .

Pluto.

Today was supposed to be a happy post, but not so unfortunately.

Well this is a very hard post to write and one we never thought we would have to. Sadly we collected Pluto from his new home on Sunday morning. He was not getting on with the existing dog and there had been a couple of squabbles in the 36 or so hours he was there. When we rehome a dog to a home with other dogs we ask you to integrate them slowly over a matter of weeks and take things very carefully regarding toys, food, and even attention between pack members. Pluto had come from a foster home with 12 other dogs and lived within this pack with no issues due the rules and boundaries set by the human pack leader. He is doing great now and I had lovely kisses and cuddles from him, he really is such a happy eager to please boy. He will now be looking for what will be his EIGHTH HOME!! He is only 3! This next home must be his last!! Please only apply for him if you are willing to take things very slowly and are willing to work with any issues that may arrise. He is living with our chairwoman at Tartuffe and she will give us lots of updates of his progress. Any potential homes will also be required to come and meet Pluto with any dogs they have. He really would suit a very active home as he is a very bouncy high energy dog. Please please help us find him his perfect FOREVER home!

Latest update on Sheba, her hotspot has dried up and is starting to scab over her lampshade collar is starting to annoy her now but it's for her own good, she's back at the vets on Thursday for a check up so will be able to let you know more then.
