Tuesday's Tails. Dogue de Bordeaux's looking for forever homes.

First off some exciting news.

Well the day has come where we can say that Pluto has come on so much and doing so well that we can now invite serious enquiries from people offering to give him his FOREVER home. He has had many homes in his three years so please only offer him a home if you feel you can give him the stability and love that he needs. He is a very active clever boy, very bouncy so we would love him to go somewhere that he will have lots of things to do to further his training and have an active life. He is now fully vaccinated, chipped, neutered, tail fixed, weight normal etc. This boy needs a very special understanding home as he still has a few food related issues (who can blame him?!) Please if you are interested can you message us through the page with your email address and we can send you an application form. Many thanks to his foster mum for doing such an amazing job with the tlc he has had and massive thanks to Royal Canin for providing all of his food, it's worked wonders for him.

When Pluto first came into rescue.

And Pluto now.

Great news for Max also my friend who fostered him fell in love with him and has sent all the paper work back and has now adopted him so Max is now in his forever home aswell.

Dogue's still looking for forever homes.

Cat saves boy from dog attack.

For those of you on facebook you've probably seen this video already.

Roger Triantafilo’s 4-year-old son was playing in his front yard in Southwest Bakersfield, CA, when surveillance cameras captured the following footage. Rogers says, “My cat defends my son during a vicious dog attack and runs the dog off before he can do additional damage. Thankfully, my son is fine!”

What an amazing cat! After running the dog off, this sweet kitty named Tara even came back to the little boy to check on him. Unfortunately, the dog was still hanging around and the little boy’s mother, Erica, was also bitten when she tried to chase the dog away after the attack. The neighbors who own the dog voluntarily had their dog quarantined.

I hope the Triantafilo family is really spoiling Tara now – that is one wonderful kitty!

Meet Roman. A Dogue de Bordeaux.

Roman

Roman is a huge hunk of love, who loves people and other dogs.
His previous family have had to rehome him as they can no longer look after him due to work commitments.
He is great around children, non reactive and can be left on his own without being disruptive.
He loves his walks, his food (he is a little underweight) and adores his sleep!

Roman is looking for a forever home with the help of SDDBS and K9 Partners

Roman is a HUGE boy and once he has gained some more weight he will be a stunner, not that he isn't already.
