The one thing I liked about the holiday was all the locals were so trusting, all the farmers sold there produce from all the little lanes and house owners would sell homemade jams and chutneys from outside there homes with an honesty box to put your money in, it was like stepping back in time.
Even the local chapel had a sign outside saying free tea and biscuits and dogs welcome.
These photos were took on a lovely sunny day, you could see the sun between the mountains but they turned out more stormy looking.
We've just booked our holidays for this year back to the Lake District again, instead of 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year like we did last year we're going away for Grandmas birthday in June and then a week for Christmas staying in the same area but different cottages.
In June we're staying in Keen Ground Cottage.
And December we're staying in Croft Barn Cottage
