Likes and dislikes:

Ellie is a very loyal dog who has sadly found herself back in kennels after her owner had a change in circumstances. She is very typical of her breed and has many of the shepherd traits. Once Ellie has a bond with you it is unbreakable, but she can be very worried by people she doesn't know.

Type of home needed:

Ellie is looking for an experienced home, preferably with someone who lives alone and doesn't have many visitors as this does scare Ellie. She will make a wonderful companion to the right owner but they would need to come and get to know her to build her confidence before taking her home. Ellie will need to be the only pet in the home and to live with adults only.

Olga And Buster looking for forever homes.

Can anyone help these two find there forever homes please, Olga has been in rescue since 2007 almost half her life and Buster ended up in rescue after escaping from his home and ended up in the pound when his owner was found she didn't want him back.

Olga Olga is a lovely lurcher who was admitted to Freshfields in 2007.  Olga is a lovely natured dog, she is very affectionate once she gets to know and trust you.  Olga has a number of long term volunteers who take her on long walks which she really enjoys. Olga could not live with children.  Although she is a nice dog she can still be nervous in certain situations and may bite if she feels threatened.  Care would have to be taken while walking Olga as she is not good with other dogs out on a walk, but she is a very nice dog to walk on the lead in quiet places. Olga would suit a quiet home with no children.  She enjoys her walks but also loves a nice quiet comfortable place to curl up and have a sleep. Olga's Update 9/1/13: Olga is a very straight forward dog who is going to need a home who is as matter of fact as she is.  She knows what she likes and she doesn't like to deviate from her routine.  Olga's favourite pass-time is snoozing on her couch; second to that she adores her walks and as soon as she sees her lead she forgets all her worries and simply squeals with happiness! Olga sadly is no spring chicken anymore and she struggles with aches and pains in the same way as people do as they get older.  Sadly Olga doesn't like the cold weather, yet she struggles in the heat thus restrcting her summer walks to cooler times of the day.  Olga is a difficult girl to read and she doesn't always like being stroked.  Olga loves company but she is not afraid to tell people off if they have invaded her space when she wants to be left alone! Olga needs a home who will just let her get on with living her life; she is a simple girl with simple needs and a home who will give her a steady routine and plenty space would be ideal.

Buster Buster was taken to a pound after escaping from his owners' house; when the owner was found she told us she didn't want him back so now poor Buster is looking for a new home. Buster is a lovely, friendly boy who just wants a friend to keep him safe.  He is a strong dog who will need a home capable of walking him safely on a lead.  Buster was living with another dog and although they squabbled he is ok with most dogs.  Hopefully we will no more about this adoreable chap in time. Please don't overlook this handsome chap; he has been through a lot and deserves some stablility in his life.

Chico Chico is looking for a new home as his owners have had a baby and no longer have enough time to look after him.  Chico is a big, strong, handsome boy, with bundles of lovely rottie personailty to give!  Chico currently lives with his friend Bronson, but in order to find them both a loving home quickly it has been decided to rehome them seperately.  Chico is very friendly but due to his size we feel he would be more suited to living with older children.  He is good with other dogs.  Chico has been described by his current home as an exceptionately friendly, affectionate dog, he is a little more laid back than his friend Bronson, but still full of beans!  He loves walks, toys and cuddles. Bronson Bronson is looking for a new home as his owners have had a new baby and have no time for him. Morning guys hope you have had a fabulous weekend A quick update for you Red, Lola, Bronson, Phoenix and Kenya have all found wonderful loving homes, it's early days for them all but so far they are all happily settled with new families. That leaves us with the lovely Ralph please don't let the only dog put you off he is just gorgeous and with time patience and love who knows what you will achieve!. Poppy oh I wish I had the room as I love this girl is also still with us, she would make the ideal first large breed dog as she is a joy to have around. Kilo ready to be a country gent. Texas has a meet and greet this week so fingers crossed for her. Please Share the dogs on the wall we have 20 in assessment at the moment with dogs being Surrendered or abandoned almost daily. We are not giving up on this big boy. Ralph is a gorgeous Bordeaux with a wonderful personality, he simply doesn't like other dogs. He is loving and gentle and kind and adores attention. Thanks to the work that Tudordogue Show Kennels have put in he loves Ann no in fact she is his main care giver, when he came he didn't trust women but Ann's love and patience have paid off.
