National Pet Memorial Day.

Today is National Pet Memorial Day, So I thought i would take a few minutes to remember there passing over the Rainbow Bridge.

R.I.P. Oscar 07/2007 - 10/ 2011

Sadly we lost Oscar to FeLV

Millie when she was a kitten with our pet rat Frankie who has also passed away, It always makes me cry happy tears when I think of them two they developed a great bond and became inseperable if Frankie was out of her cage Millie would sleep with her and if Frankie was in her cage Millie and Oscar would sleep on top of it, we also had another rat Deano and the four of them would toddle off and curl up together, the bond they all had together was amazing.

R.I.P. Millie 07/2007 - 10/2009

Millie sadly passed away in the vets after being attacked by a neighbours dog, so our cats are now indoor cats and poor Oscar never got over Millie's passing and would just sit at the window looking for her I'm sure when he was out he kept on looking for Millie he never had a chance to say good bye and couldn't understand why she wouldn't come home.

Your all in our thoughts today, we never stop thinking of you, Always remembered but never forgotten. Thank you for guiding Coco and Cody in our direction we still feel your presence around the house and hear you playing

Rainbow Bridge

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they each miss someone very special, someone who was left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly, he breaks from the group, flying over the green grass, faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into those trusting eyes, so long gone from your life, but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together...
