Start of our holidays.

I've got to much to say and to many photos to share about our holiday to fit into one post so will split it up.

We arrived early after making good time on the motorway so I went to one of my favourite locations Wray Castle just on the shores of Lake Windermere to stretch my legs and go the toilet.

Just arriving at Wray Castle.

Path down to Lake Windermere.

Me having a good sniff.

Me with Mum.

Me with Mum and Grandma.

Me with the driver aka Dad and Grandma aka treat lady.

On the Sunday we just had a short drive into the outskirts of Coniston and to the car park over looking Tarn Hows with some spectacular views.

This is typical Lakeland countryside rugged with white washed cottages building in Lakeland stone and dry stone walls.

Views over Tarn Hows.

Road leading up to Tarn Hows.

Another view from the car park, you can just see the snow on the high ground.

Another view over the fields.
