Happy Howl-o-Ween

Happy Howl-O-Ween or Meow-lo-Ween.

We're all out of town today busy partying With Misaki and Mollie and our better halves, like the party animals we are the DJ even played our favourite song Monster Mash.

Cody and Daisy.

Grady and I.

Don't worry Coco was there he was just a bit overwelmed by it all and went camera shy with it being his first big event not like us old timers.

Coco had a great time with him only being small he managed to squeeze into all the mouse holes for a tasty treat his excuse if you catch it yourself you know it's fresh.

Cody and Daisy wandered off into the woods paw in paw and came across a lake brimming with fish so spent most of the night catching fresh trout and salmon.

With everyone out the way Grady and I thought it would be a great time to go table surfing, Grady might be blind but he makes up for it with the nose of a blood hound when it comes to finding food he made a direct hit on the turkey apperantly his human Mum had made the stuffing for the turkey and Grady's developed a bit of a liking for it BOL.

His Mum says naughty Grady I say good on you if humans are stupid crazy enough to leave food lying around we're going to use our initiative and seize the moment BOL.

I don't know what I ate or how much but people are saying are you Coccolino's mini pigs twin, Now I know where the saying pigging out comes from.

Can anyone help Jake get adopted please.

Post reblogged from Meet the Fur -Bombers. Jakes owner passed away yesterday leaving him home alone.

Original request. Okay ya'll, I'm in a bit of a bind I know this isn't really what this board is for but I'm not really in the know for rescues. My next door neighbor passed away yesterday and left his Elder-bull dog Jake behind. We were contacted by his family and asked us to find him a new home since they live out of state. (they live in WV or VA not sure which while we live TN) We are caring for him now, but we know we can't keep him for much longer, our Furbombers are currently at their tolerance limit for new arrivals. Anywho, I have a profile and contact info on a dedicated page for Jake on my blog, I am setting up a profile for him on PetFinder and will be making some phone calls to our local (and maybe not so local) rescues. But I (and Jake) would appreciate any shares you guys could do to help get him re-homed/adopted to a new furrever home. Here is a direct link to his page: www.meetthefurbombers.com/our-neighbor-jake

Thank you for any and all help!

Jake is a sweet and lovable Elder-Bull, about 9 years old. He is very playful and will play ball for as long as you are willing to throw the ball. He loves belly rubs and butt-scratches, he is good with children, and up until recently had a playmate so should be fine sharing attention with one other dog. He has had very little if any interaction with cats, so we are unsure of how cat-friendly he would be. He is used to constant companionship with people both inside and outside, and would probably be happiest with someone who either works from home or has a stay-at-home spouse.

If there isn’t a ball to play fetch with he does take a while to warm up to strangers.

Our knowledge of his medical history if very limited; he is neutered, we believe a year overdue on vaccinations, and heartworm/parasite status is unknown.

Jake has been through a lot of loss this past year, first his ‘Mom’ then his ‘Brother’ and now his ‘Dad’. This poor guy just needs someone to love him.

If you know of any rescues with openings, or potential adopters please email me at victoria.carter@meetthefurbombers.com or call at (615)440-8729. I will update as they occur.

My thanks, and Jake’s too!

Wordless Wednesday.

I was giving Sheba a stroke and Cody decided to jump on my back.
