Back to reality.

It's been one week today since i got back off my holidays.

I can't get used to being back off holiday even though i still get daily walks most of it is on lead instead of off lead running through forests or swimming in lakes, It's like walking around a concrete jungle.

The withdrawal symptoms have got that bad now that I've resorted to digging holes in the garden hoping they will fill up with water to resemble lakes and using the excavated soil to form mounds that look like mountains.

I've ended up going from this.

There's no comparison.

I think i will have to have a word with the vet and see if they can prescribe a week or two in the Lakes by prescription on health grounds if i say I'm feeling a little depressed or my hip dysplasia is playing me up and i need some water to have a good swim in like this.

Well they do say hydrotherapy is good for the muscles or i could just get a job up there as a mountain search and rescue dog working for ( SARDA ) which of course means i would have to take my staff up with me firstly my Dad as my handler and Mum to make sure we're both well fed and to do the worrying when we're out on a job ( for those of you that haven't read the post properly that's not a bank job. )

I have over heard the staff talking and seen them looking on that thing they call the tinternet, google or whatever it's called, they did ask me what i wanted and i said i don't mind as long as there's water, i just hope i don't live to regret that statement  and i spoke to soon sometimes i don't think before speaking i they might take it the wrong way and put me in the bath, turn the hose pipe on me or buy me a paddling pool.
